I’m thrilled with how this painting came together. It grew out of daydreams — travel memories tangled up with plans for what’s next — and in the finished composition I see clouds and sunbeams beckoning me forward. Whether it’s the pull of a flight to somewhere far away, or the simple joy of a day spent outdoors, the sky remains one of the most magical sources of inspiration and contentment I know.
